Itinerary

Departing from the mother city at 8:30, we travel inland on the N1 highway towards Oudtshoorn via Route 62 into the semi-arid Klein Karoo. We will visit the wine farm in Robertson for wine tasting and lunch will be enjoyed on the farm. We continue to Oudtshoorn the Ostrich Capital of the world where Ostriches are seen in great numbers. This town is the largest in the Klein Karoo and is situated in the beautiful valley between Outeniqua and Swartberg Mountains. The region produces the best leather products and Ostrich Meat in the world. Dinner (own account) and overnight at Hlangani Lodge or similar.

Start your day with delicious breakfast and then depart for an hour of magic in the world famous Cango Caves. It is regarded as one of South Africa's foremost natural wonders with narrow stone passageways. Passing through the Swartberg Pass, you will have lunch before proceeding to the Cango Wildlife Ranch. Encounter the reptiles and other magnificent animals like Rhinos, Jaguar and many more. Lunch will be enjoyed on the farm and continue to Knysna Heads, Elephant Park, and Knysna Waterfront where you will have dinner (own account) before retiring at Graywood Hotel or similar.

After breakfast, this day will see you to a walk in the Tsitsikama Nature Reserve via a scenic path to the suspension bridge at the mouth of the Storms River. Explore Plettenberg Bay and after lunch (own account), expect to see a variety of primates in the world's first free roaming multi-specie primate sanctuary, Monkeyland and then visit Birds of Eden. Dinner and overnight at Graywood Hotel.

Your day will start with an early breakfast and then depart for Mossel Bay, You will go for a two-hour safari tour in an open safari vehicle with a professional tour guide in Boutlierskop Private Game Reserve. From here you will visit the post office tree and other attractions of the town have lunch and head back to Cape Town.
